Soho and Spurs

img_0431A very early arrival… wandering photo-2-10-2016-6-26-43-amthe streets and narrow laneways of Soho with our luggage searching for our tiny flat. Sharing the streets with the last extravagantly dressed stragglers finally going home after a big Saturday night out. (Should have got a photo – it was a sight to see!!) Our backdrop being the eclectic mix of tiny bars, restaurants and theatres. We are certainly looking forward to the hustle and bustle of living in such a central part of London.

It’s 7.30pm on our first night in London and as my jet-lagged brain struggles to decipher my thoughts, I am grateful that we are finally back in this wonderful city.

We’re having an early night tonight photo-2-10-16-2-49-37-pm-1in an attempt to 20161003_171258set our body clocks to UK time! I spent the day exploring the neighbourhood (getting lost several times), enjoying buskers in the sun in Leicester Square, while Bruce set off for White Hart Lane to watch his beloved Tottenham Hotspurs beat Manchester City. Arriving home without a voice but ecstatic with the win. Ben and Paul, good to see you were supporting Spurs. COYS!!

Well “supporting” is a bit of a strong word isn’t it?

If only there could have been two losers on the day.
